The Tacx Flux S Smart is a bike trainer that allows you to take care of your athletic preparation even at home. It is a smart trainer for home training with a large number of features despite being an entry-level device among the various direct drive models offered by the brand. It allows you to complete fun and high-level training sessions in indoor mode. Similar models in the same average price range are the Flux Smart and the Wahoo Kickr Snap.

Assembly and structural characteristics

It only works if connected to the mains and can be easily assembled. Simply unhook the rear wheel and use the quick release provided or use adapters. The flywheel weighs approximately 7 kg and its generous dimensions allow you to simulate a pedaling style that is very close to that of an outdoor ride. The roller, which measures 67x64x46 cm and weighs 22.8 kg, is equipped with an 8-magnet electromagnetic brake and allows you to set a maximum pedaling thrust of 1500 W.

Bluetooth, slope and route simulation

This bike roller, which connects via Bluetooth and ANT+, is an absolutely cutting-edge product, as it is able to synchronize with various training software and simulate exercises or races, even online. It is possible to set the power level, the type of terrain, the slope (max. 10% incline) and many other characteristics of a real route. The roller is calibrated via the Tacx Utility application, through which it is possible to manage the settings and download any updates.
